In Luke 19:1-10 we learn about Zacchaeus, a tax collector in Jericho, who is greatly disliked by the people of Jericho due to the position he holds. However, when Jesus is passing through the city of Jericho on His way to Jerusalem, we see that Zacchaeus’ encounter with Jesus was totally transformative and powerful – No one is beyond redemption and all who are considered a sinner can find forgiveness and be led to a new path through Jesus.
