In the final week of The Upper Room, we look at John 17 and Jesus’ actual prayer. He first prays for Himself, then for His disciples, and ultimately for us. At the heart of His prayer is unity. Jesus makes it clear that eternal life is found in knowing Him, that His mission brings glory to God, and that He is fully God and fully man. But what stands out most is that He doesn’t primarily pray for our comfort or protection—He prays for our oneness with Him and with each other.
