Jesus made some pretty shocking statements during His life and ministry, including this: people who want to find true life must first lose their life. In other words, gaining the world is meaningless if you lose your soul too – and your soul is found when you surrender your whole life to Jesus. One way Christians are called to live out this radically different life is to be generous with their talents. While the world uses their talents selfishly, Christians are called to use their talents to glorify God and bless others.
