For the last 3 weeks, we have discussed that surrendering our lives to Jesus involves the recognition that everything we have is not ours, but rather a gift from God. This includes our talents, time, and treasures. Jesus spoke much about money and possessions, and His teachings warn us against the selfishness and greed that money can easily promote. Our challenge to you high school students is to pray for God to give you His view of money, decide to give and save before spending it, and ask a family member or trusted adult to help keep you accountable. As we trust God in these ways, He will show us the best kind of life, which is full of radical generosity for His glory and to be a light for this world.
